City Repair The City Repair Project.  The City Repair Project fosters thriving, inclusive and sustainable communities through the creative reclamation of public space. City Repair facilitates artistic and ecologically-oriented placemaking through projects that honor the interconnection of human communities and the natural world.  See more here.

Creative Communities International Creative Communities International has been described by The Project for Public Spaces as “an incubator for social innovation which works to build the capacity of citizens and cities to create vibrant neighborhoods, prosperous shopping streets and add magic to the public realm. It was created by “traffic calming guru”  David Engwicht who also invented the Neighborhood Pace Car.   See more here

Rocchester BoulevArtBoulevArt is a City of Rochester program that combines neighborhood traffic calming with community building to result in a truly public piece of art. The purpose of the program is to support neighborhoods seeking to organize and create painted murals on their residential streets.  The pilot took place in June 2012 in the Highland Park neighborhood at Linden Street and Meigs Street.  Our residents worked with the City to design its initial policy on BoulevArt street painting and bring the concept of this project, not only to Rochester, but also to the North East USA, for the the first time.  See more here

Streets for the People!Streets for the People is an initiative of the SE Quadrant neighborhoods in the City of Rochester. It is a resource to help educate and empower citizens to advocate for and create safer streets for all who use them. The initiative supports the belief that our community streets are made for people, regardless of their mode of transportation. See more here.  

Reconnect Rochester
Reconnect Rochester
supports the expansion of Rochester New York’s transit services and facilities, including rail, into a truly multii-modal transportation network. Through education and outreach, we will help create a broad base of support for our existing public transit system, shape regional policies to improve it, and reconnect our community in ways that improve personal mobility, urban vitality, environmental sustainability, and economic development.   See more here.
